Fraser & Housty, Attorneys-at-Law, known as FHYLaw, is part of the S.G. Fraser & Co. Group of Companies.
The chambers was established in 2004 by its co-founders, Stephen G.N. Fraser, S.C. and Teni E. Housty, LL.M., MBA, to provide a wide range of commercial legal services. Both were experienced attorneys at the founding, and their combined practice formed the base of the firm.
FHYLaw is one of the few law firms that also offers consultancy in its service areas. The chambers works from Georgetown for clients in Guyana and the wider Caribbean. Chambers Global recognises both Stephen and Teni as leading lawyers in Guyana for General Business Law.
Teni has served three terms as President of the Bar Association of Guyana, later served as a Vice-President, and was appointed an inaugural Commissioner of Guyana’s Law Reform Commission in 2021.
